Rudyard Kipling - Westminster Abbey
WEBRUDYARD KIPLING. BORN 30th DEC. 1865 DIED 18th JAN. 1936. The original gravestone (now at Kipling's house in Sussex) had become very faint and was replaced by the present Belgian marble stone in 1965 and was in place for the centenary wreath laying in December that year. It was paid for by American admirers of the poet.
