Freddy Peralta pitched six sharp innings to help Milwaukee beat the Chicago Cubs 4-0 on Sunday, with the Brewers' lineup breaking through after an injury knocked out left-hander Shota Imanaga in the sixth inning. Milwaukee prevented the Cubs from earning their first road sweep of the Brewers since October 2015.

Chicago Cubs starter Shota Imanaga exited the team's 4-0 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday due to a left hamstring strain. In the bottom of the sixth inning, Imanaga appeared to suffer the injury while running towards first base in an attempt to turn a double play.

Imanaga’s injury follows a start Tuesday in Pittsburgh in which he left in the sixth inning with leg cramps in both legs. He said he felt good Sunday before the injury, and “there was no sign in the back of my leg” before the start.
