Eight people, including one child, and a pet lizard were displaced from their home Friday morning after a fire broke out in a Poway duplex, city fire officials said.

Fire chief Brian Mitchell told NBC 7 on Friday afternoon that the fire had been started at an exterior electrical outlet.
