Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty dazzled in his late-closing victory at Churchill Downs, but trainer Bill Mott remains uncertain whether the colt will pursue Triple Crown glory in the upcoming Preakness Stakes.

Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott didn’t sound like someone preparing Sovereignty for a trip to Baltimore to run in the 150th Preakness Stakes.

Derby winner Sovereignty's status is pending for the race as is the runner-up, whose trainer also said he'll wait to see how the colt emerges from the Run for the Roses before a decision is made
