Jaheem Warren was extradited Tuesday to Manhattan following his arrest in New Jersey and was charged in the murder of Leslie Torres, 23.

A man was arrested and charged with the murder of 23-year-old Leslie Torres, found strangled near a Times Square hotel. Facial recognition helped identify the suspect, Jaheem Warren, who had a criminal past.

The 23-year-old victim died several days after Jaheem Warren put her in a chokehold outside a New York City hotel, officials said.
