FARGO, N.D. – National champion North Dakota State was ranked No. 1 in the final FCS media and coaches polls released by Stats Perform and the American Football Coaches Association on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

After a relatively chalky FCS playoff unfolded, No. 1 Montana State will take on No. 2 North Dakota State in the FCS Championship today at 6pm CT in Frisco, Texas.

The North Dakota State Bison won the FCS Championship on Monday night beating the top-ranked Montana State Bobcats, 35-32. Montana State came into the game undefeated but fell behind early and was never able to catch up.
