After no tickets matched all six numbers in the weekend drawing, the Powerball jackpot has skyrocketed to an astonishing $398 million.

Once you have your ticket, you need to pick six numbers. Five of them will be white balls with numbers from 1 to 69. The red Powerball ranges from 1 to 26. People can also add a “Power Play” for $1 which increases the winning for all non-jackpot prizes.

The odds of matching all five white balls and winning the $1 million prize are 1 in 11,677,054. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338. The jackpot now climbs to $398 million for the next Powerball drawing Monday, March 17. The cash option is worth $185.7 million.
