Oscar Piastri won an action-packed Formula 1 race full of wheel-to-wheel battles Sunday, extending his championship lead over fellow McLaren driver Lando Norris, who finished in second place.

Piastri has won three consecutive F1 races for McLaren Racing, where he and teammate Lando Norris are trying to dethrone four-time defending champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull.

The win marks Piastri's fourth of the season after he picked up wins at the Heineken Chinese Grand Prix in March and the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix and SRC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in April. The 24-year-old Australian has now doubled his win total from a year ago.
