The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could be the most powerful phone on the market when it officially launches – but until then here’s how Samsung can improve on its top-end handset.

The promotion combines a £100 ($125) discount for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, enhanced trade-in prices and the free Chromebook Go laptop, which is worth £299 ($374). TECHINFOSOCIALS posted the benchmark scores on X on December 30, showing lackluster numbers. In the single-core test, the Galaxy S25 Ultra scored 3,049; in the multi-core test, it only had 9,793. The last batch of benchmarks for the Galaxy S25 Ultra were better, with 3,148 single-core and 10,236 multi-core.

Despite fierce competition from the likes of the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max and other Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered flagships such as the Oppo Find X8 Pro and Vivo X200 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra continues to reign supreme as the ultimate all-rounder considering the fact that it is widely available in many regions.

Samsung may make some of the best phones money can buy, but its flagships are still missing a few features its rivals have offered for years. One of those missing features, Car Crash Detection, may finally make an appearance on Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

OnePlus, on the other hand, has made a virtue of trying to keep flagship costs down. The OnePlus 12 starts at $799, and with the Chinese version of the new handset coming in at 4,499 yuan (around $632), we’re hopeful that $799 remains the asking price in 2025.
