The Supreme Court has postponed the hearing of actor Siddique's anticipatory bail plea in a sexual assault case for two weeks as per the request of Siddique's lawyer, Mukul Rohatgi, who cited health issues as the reason.

The actor, through his counsel, informed the Supreme Court that the police repeatedly demanded his phone and laptop from the time of the alleged crime. Justice Satish Chandra Sharma questioned how someone could be expected to provide a phone used in 2016.
