A driver from Atwood has died after the vehicle rolled over and crashed into a dry canal in Grayson Tuesday, the California Highway Patrol said. According to CHP, emergency crews arrived at the crash scene on Frank Cox Road just west of Cox Road around 4:41 p.m. and found the 39-year-old driver near the car.

A woman survived the crash on Petaluma Hill Road at Laurel Drive — a side entrance to Sonoma State University.

Investigators determined that speed was a likely factor in a solo vehicle crash near Rohnert Park on Monday night that led to the driver's death, according to the California Highway Patrol.
