The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a three-car collision that resulted in two dead in Holmes County on Friday. According to a news release, the incident happened at 7:45 a.m. on State Road 10. A 77-year-old DeFuniak Springs man and a 65-year-old Bonifay woman were pronounced dead.

An 18-year-old Volusia County man is dead after a single-vehicle incident on Thursday caused his car to overturn. According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver was traveling northbound on Murphy Road, south of Chamberlin Road, just before 9:15 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and overturned.

FHP said the driver was not wearing a seat belt; he died at the crash site. Investigators did not release the man’s name, but said he was 18 and lived in Pierson. A 19-year-old passenger in the truck, also of Pierson, suffered minor injuries in the crash, FHP said. The crash remains under investigation.
