The NHC said Tuesday it is tracking a tropical wave in the Caribbean Sea that could become a tropical depression by the end of the week.

Another tropical storm is likely to develop in the Caribbean late next week. This storm will be called “Rafael”. Here’s what the Hurricane Center says: “Southwestern Caribbean Sea:Disorganized showers and thunderstorms over the southwestern Caribbean Sea are associated with a broad area of low pressure.

"Not only does this have a significant chance of becoming a hurricane, but it may become a major hurricane very quickly," hurricane expert Alex DaSilva said

Hurricane Sara, currently designated as Invest 99L, is expected to form this week and head northwest − toward Florida − by the middle of next week, according to the latest information from AccuWeather.
