Bangladesh is ramping up payments to Adani Power after the Indian conglomerate reportedly cut electricity supplies by half because of an unpaid $800m bill. The company has given Bangladesh a deadline of November 7 for the fulfillment of the unpaid dues amounting to $846 million.

Adani has been pressing the interim government to pay the dues since they took charge after the ouster of then prime minister Sheikh Hasina.
