53-year-old Richard Sitzlack was arraigned on several charges. The union that represents bus drivers in and around King County was in court for the arraignment of Richard Sitzlack, the man accused of stabbing and killing King County Metro bus driver Shawn Yim.

On Dec. 18, officers were dispatched to an assault that occurred at NE 41st St. and University Way NE just before 3 a.m. The officers found the victim, later identified as Yim, a King County Metro bus driver, lying in an empty parking lot, according to the probable cause document. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Richard Sitzlack, the man accused of stabbing Metro bus driver Shawn Yim to death, is now facing first-degree murder charges.
