Manchester United pay an emotional tribute to former striker Denis Law - who died on Friday at the age of 84 - before their match against Brighton.

It read: Denis Law: The King of the Stretford End. Rest in peace. A warrior born on Scotland's land, Who rose to rule with a master’s hand. The Stretford End, his loyal throne, Where Denis Law made greatness known.

Dennis Law, who passed away aged 84 on Friday, was close friends with Sir Alex Ferguson - who penned a moving tribute to the ex-forward and calling him "the King of Old Trafford"

The Under-21s held a minute's applause for Law before their game against Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon and also wore black armbands. Fans have laid flowers at the Trinity Statue to pay their respects to Law and United CEO Omar Berrada paid his respects by laying a wreath.
