Despite the 2-8 record, Giants star Dexter Lawrence believes that coach Brian Daboll’s message is still “getting through” to him and his teammates. The problem, Lawrence said, is that the Giants are doing a lousy job retaining and acting on it.

Daboll declined to back Daniel Jones as the New York Giants' starter going forward after the team lost a 20-17 overtime game to Carolina.
