Every Dragon Age game features a fair amount of character customization, but The Veilguard is the only title in the series that allows players to pick a faction. There are six factions to choose from in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, some of which are entirely new while others have been present in some form or another in previous games.

The Veilguard, you'll find loads of chests to loot. In those chests you find gold and random items that are classed as valuables. You can then sell those valuables to Faction merchants in return for some gold and a small amount of Faction Strength.

Increasing Faction Strength in Dragon Age: The Veilguard will allow players to purchase stronger items, and get access to better prices. Since they will be the main merchants where you buy your gear, crafting items, and more, it pays to increase faction strength. You will also unlock certain objectives in the game and more dialogue options.

The Veil Jumpers are a great faction to choose. Sure, they’re not as tailored as the Crows, Shadow Dragons, or the Grey Wardens, but they’re fun, have plenty of quests, and tons of opportunities to increase your reputation. Not to mention how early on you unlock their quests too.
