Freddy Peralta pitched six sharp innings to help Milwaukee beat the Chicago Cubs 4-0, with the Brewers’ lineup breaking through after an injury knocked out left-hander Shota Imanaga in the sixth inning.

The Brewers try to avoid being swept by the Cubs this afternoon in the teams' series finale at American Family Field.

Imanaga’s injury follows a start Tuesday in Pittsburgh in which he left in the sixth inning with leg cramps in both legs. He said he felt good Sunday before the injury, and “there was no sign in the back of my leg” before the start.
