THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: MLA and actor Mukesh from the ruling LDF was arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Ernakulam on Tuesday in connection with a sexual harassment case.

The Kerala Police has released actor and Kerala MLA Mukesh on bail after a thorough medical examination. The actor was arrested on Tuesday on charges of rape and sexual assault which was filed by a female colleague.

However, he was released on bail shortly after his arrested was recorded. Earlier, the High Court accepted his anticipatory bail plea.
