Boeing set to lay off more than 2,000 workers amid plans to cut 10% of workforce
In filings made Monday, Boeing said it would be laying off more than 2,000 workers in Washington and Oregon amid a year of strikes and safety issues.

Nearly 2,200 layoff notices went to workers in Washington and another 220 in South Carolina, the two states where Boeing builds commercial airliners.
