Porsche enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as leaked images of the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S facelift (992.2) have surfaced ahead of its official unveiling. The refreshed model brings subtle yet impactful updates to Porsche's iconic sports car,

2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S packs a 3.0-liter turbocharged flat-six engine that now makes 473 hp, which is a 30-hp bump over the previous model year. The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S is now offered exclusively with an eight-speed PDK transmission, which means there is no manual transmission option.

The refreshed 2025 Porsche 911 debuted in May 2024 with major upgrades for the iconic German sports car. Most notably, the company finally introduced a road-going hybrid powertrain for the GTS trim. The electrical assistance pushed the variant’s output to a heady 532 horsepower and 449 pound-feet of torque.

The new 992.2-gen Carrera S also has more standard features, but the coupe's base price has risen over $15K to $148,395.
