Shasta County is being hit the hardest by the public safety shut-offs. Power was shut off to 1,041 customers in portions of Glenn, Colusa, Tehama and Lake counties. The utility said power was shut off to 415 customers in Butte County.

Due to the elevated wildfire risk, PG&E says more than 13,000 customers in parts of 13 counties and two tribal areas could be affected by Public Safety Power Shutoffs on Monday and Tuesday. The county with the largest number of people affected is Shasta, where PG&E says 7,709 have had their power cut.

CHICO, Calif. - More than 11,000 customers in our local counties may lose power on Monday due to increased fire danger caused by dry windy conditions. By 5 a.m. Monday, customers in the Butte County communities of Concow and Yankee Hill had their power shut off. By 6 a.m. customers in eastern Shasta County lost power near Round Mountain.
