God forbid these same businesses end up having to spend extra money so the customer can receive their package faster. These corporations need to learn how to do without less money like the majority of other Americans have to.

This is because Surepost is only supposed to be touched by USPS for the last mile delivery, which means UPS drops it off at the delivery office before it gets delivered to the address on the package. They only get paid a small amount from UPS to deliver for them. UPS is supposed to do the majority of the transportation of that package.

My local post office woman showed me a UPS SurePost package that someone left them, and was shaking her head and when I asked her what would happen to it, she said that someone from UPS would have to come pick it up, and she didn’t really care to expedite the process.

But, if UPS is already delivering to the recipients house when a surepost comes up, then UPS will go ahead and deliver both directly to the recipient.
